HEALING ABUTMENT

· Used after One-stage or the second procedure to
form a gum shape
- Hand tightening using 1.2 Hex driver
- Selectable according to the height of patient’s gum
and abutment to be used
(Wider healing abutments than the final abutment should
be used to avoid interference from the surrounding
gingiva of the final prosthesis)
 · Tightening torque : 5-8 N·㎝
* Antibiotics as a lubricant can be applied to the cover screw/healing
abutment prior to tightening them to the
fixture to ease screw removal. (Antibiotics: Minocycline, Periocline, etc.)
